1. Who we are
KerjaSpot is a brand of Agensi Pekerjaan Affluent RF Sdn. Bhd. (SSM Registration No. 1099483-W), a JTKSM-licensed private employment agency (Lesen No. JTKSM 545, Category B) with its registered address at No. 42A, Jalan Gaya 1, Taman Gaya, 81800 Ulu Tiram, Johor, Malaysia. We match working Malaysians with verified part-time, freelance, and remote work opportunities. In this Policy, "we", "us", and "KerjaSpot" refer to the registered entity above. "You" refers to any individual who submits personal data to us.
2. What personal data we collect
- Contact details you submit through our forms: name (optional), WhatsApp number, email address.
- Work preferences: type of work sought, hours available, skills, and any free-text you share.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited (via cookies and analytics).
- Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
3. How we use your data
- To match you with verified job opportunities and contact you via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- To verify the identity of candidates and employers and prevent fraud.
- To improve the KerjaSpot service, measure performance, and respond to support requests.
- To comply with our legal obligations under JTKSM licensing and Malaysian law.
4. Who we share data with
We share your data only with: (a) verified employer partners you have consented to be matched with; (b) service providers who help us run KerjaSpot (e.g., messaging, hosting, analytics) under written confidentiality terms; and (c) Malaysian regulators where required by law. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Your rights under PDPA 2010
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent, limit processing, and request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiry@kerjaspot.world with the subject "PDPA Request". We respond within 21 days.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as you remain an active candidate, plus 24 months after your last interaction with us, after which we delete or anonymise it — unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and Malaysian-hosted infrastructure where possible. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the care our JTKSM license requires.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work without them.
9. Children
KerjaSpot is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by direct notice.
